Just Some Cards

I've been making cards a lot lately. It's not that I don't like to do scrapbook layouts. I do. I just seldom have pictures printed for them. Cards are easy because they don't require pictures. Plus, they're just fun to make and give to people! :)

Here are three cards I've made recently.
I used the same design and papers on the first two and just changed up the sentiment. I used the July Kraft Girls Kit (who unfortunately just shut down...bummer) for these. I love that Wisteria line from Basic Grey. I did lots of inking, distressing, and embossing with my Cuttlebug (though it is hard to tell in the photos).

The sentiment on this card is a dollar stamp from Michael's. Thanks to my Aunt Pam for this stamp! :) I added some pearls to the flowers.

The scripture stamp on this card is from Our Daily Bread Designs.

I used a Mojo Monday sketch for this last card and an older kit I had from Mosh Posh. The sentiment on this card is from Unity Stamp Co.

I had a good day today with the family. I found a good deal on some jeans at The Gap. Tomorrow will be a busy day with church, writing lesson plans, and putting together the school newspaper. I hope everyone had a great weekend! Thanks for looking! :)

Happy Birthday!

Today is a special day at our house. Not only is it Labor Day, but it is my daddy's birthday.

Happy Birthday, Daddy! I hope you enjoy your day and all of it's blessings. I love you!

Here is the card I made for him.

I hope all of you have a happy and safe Labor Day!

Our Daily Bread Designs

I ordered some stamps from Our Daily Bread Designs on Sunday. I had been eyeing their stamps for quite some time but this was my first purchase. I received my order today and was very impressed with the customer service. First, I ordered them Sunday night and received them today (Thursday), so the shipping was very fast. Next, my invoice was personally signed "Thank you, Candace!" and a gift of an adorable post-it notes pad was included.

That's not all. The packaging on these stamps is wonderful. I will be able to store them in their original packaging and there is a sheet on the front that shows exactly what is in the box.
I only wish that I hadn't waited so long to order from them. It's not every day that you get quality, personal customer service like that. I highly recommend them. :)

P.S. No, they did not pay me to say that. I'm just a very satisifed customer!
