KLSNS - Shabby Chic

Hi there! It's time for this week's KL Stampin' N Scrappin' challenge. Debbie is our hostess this week and she has challenged us to make a shabby chic card.

Well, this is my card. I'm not too happy with the way it turned out, and I'm not really sure if it fits in the "shabby chic" category, either, but I tried! I did lots of inking, paper-tearing, and stitching.

This image is Santa Birgitta by C.C. Designs. I paper-pieced her dress, and added lots of sparkly to her hat and wings. I added liquid applique with some Martha Stewart glitter to the white trim and heated it to make it puffy.

Be sure to hop over to the KLSNS blog to check out the challenge details as well as the inspiration from the design team: Ceal, Debbie, Jacilynn, JodiKellyand Risa. We would love to have you play along with us this week!

Thanks for stopping by today! :)
