TSG Stitched with Love Blog Hop

Hi there! It's Day Two of release week at There She Goes!

Last month, we released the CUTEST set by Torico, Cute as a Button. This month, we have it’s PERFECT companion-Stitched With Love! Full of additional images and sentiments, whether used separately, or together, no matter what you create, Stitched With Love will be PERFECT for the crafter in your life (or you!!)!!

Stitched With Love is a 4x6 set that includes a total of 24 stamps and will sell for $15.00.

First of all, I have to thank the awesome Karen Giron. I watched her video tutorial on editing card photos yesterday, and it made a huge difference in this photograph of my card. My card photos have never looked this good, so I want to thank Karen for sharing her knowledge!! :)

I used this week's TSG162 Sketch Challenge for my layout. This was a really fun sketch, and there's still time to play if you want to! I used some  yummy My Mind's Eye papers - Dolled Up - for this card. I love the colors! I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black. I did lots of stitching on this card because a sewing themed card needs stitching, right? I had a knock-down-drag-out with my sewing machine, though. It did NOT want to cooperate. I used the TE Scalloped Eyelet Border Die for the scalloped trim. I finished my card off by adding a pearl in each corner and some grosgrain ribbon.

I was really happy with how this card turned out. :) I don't sew *fabric* at all (just on my cards), but my grandmother is brilliant when it comes to sewing, so I love to make sewing-themed things for her. She's always gifting someone with something she's sewed, so I think she'll love this card to give with her next sewn gift. The best gifts my grandmother has ever given me are the ones she's made herself. Here's a photo of her Christmas gifts to the girls in the family a few years ago.

Would you like to win the new Stitched With Love stamp set? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. One of the Trendsetter’s blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post.

You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning new stamps! The Blog Hop Challenges will be open until 5 PM Eastern Time Saturday, June 30th with the winner being announced during the release party chat.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! :)

  17. Candace,
Just a tip, sometimes when the machine gets all balled up it is time to change the needle. It will get duller, faster punching through paper, as opposed to fabric, where it just pushes the fibers aside. Love the ladies in their aprons! Your grandma sounds fabulous.
