Word!

Hi there!!

I'm sorry I haven't posted lately. I've really been enjoying my time off from school. I've also had major baby brain! We find out Wednesday if we are having a boy or girl. It seems that all I want to do is look at baby things online and go shopping for baby stuff, and I can't buy anything since I don't know what I'm having yet! LOL! As soon as we get the ultrasound on Wednesday, we are going to shop until we drop!

I had some spare time this evening, so I whipped up this card using the newly released Smarty Pants stamp set by There She Goes. I LOVE this stamp set!! I didn't get a chance to use it during release week, and I've had it on my desk just waiting to be stamped. The sentiments that come with this set are SO cute, and of course, this nerdy girl is just adorable. I colored her with Copic markers. The papers are Echo Park Hello Summer, and I did some stitching around the edges. A sentiment was stamped on a little tag. I added some red rhinestones and red ribbon to finish off my card. My card layout is Sweet Stop Sketches #191

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great weekend! Oh, and I'll be sure to come back on Wednesday and post the results of my ultrasound - boy or girl! What do y'all think it will be? :)

There She Goes Again - HoHoHo!

Hey there! Are you busy getting ready for Christmas? I only have a few little Christmas decorations out, and I haven't bought any gifts yet! I guess I have just been busy this year because normally I have those things done a lot earlier. I really need to finish up my Christmas cards and get those out. I've been making some all year, and I really only need to make about a dozen or so more. Hopefully I'll have some time to sit down this weekend and crank them out!

It's There She Goes Again Week at TSG, and this week we are featuring three stamp sets: HoHoHo, Holiday Tags, and No Peeking

I created a card using HoHoHo. Do you notice anything unique about my card? It has two Rudolph's! LOL! That was a silly mistake on my part, and I decided not to fix it. Oops, but oh well! :) I colored the image with Copic markers and added some red pearls to the tree for ornaments. Love that! I put my sentiment on a little sentiment flag and finished my card off with some Ribbon Carousel Twill ribbon. Oh, and my paper is Echo Park This and That Christmas.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great day! :)

A Christmas Treat Box

Hi there!

I meant to post this on Friday, but oops...I forgot! Last week I was Trendsetter of the Week at There She Goes, and I made this for my Anything But a Card Friday post. You may remember this Valentine's treat box I made in the past. These boxes are so much fun to make, and they are easy, too!

I used the Maria's Treat Box instructions from over at Split Coast Stampers and went with a Christmas theme this time.

I filled my candy bag with some chocolate Kisses and tied it with some V-Striped Twill Ribbon from Ribbon Carousel. I embellished my box with the Holly Jolly stamp set and die from There She Goes

These would make perfect gifts for neighbors, teachers, etc., and you could fill them with candy, homemade goodies, or other little happies. No matter what you put in this little box, I'm sure the recipient will love it! Have fun making these treat boxes!

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI Pure Poppy, X-Press It Blending Card
Patterned Paper: Echo Park Holly Jolly Christmas
Stamps: Holly Jolly by There She Goes
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic markers
Embellishments: V-Striped Twill Ribbon (ribboncarousel.com)
Tools: We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper
Other: cello bag, chocolate candy
