{Silhouette} Shirts for Grayson

Hi there! I've been busy with my Silhouette again. I have been having so much fun with heat transfer vinyl! These little shirts were very easy to make. I can't take credit for the designs because I saw them on Pinterest. I added these designs to Garanimals shirts that I picked up at Walmart. I have found these shirts to be inexpensive and hold up very well.

The font on this one is SF Slapstick Comic font, and I added the crown from the Silhouette store.

These glasses are also from the Silhouette store, and the font is My Own Topher.

I love being able to make things for Grayson. It is so much fun!! That's it for me today. Have a great weekend!

Supplies:
t-shirts, black and pale blue heat transfer vinyl (Siser Easy Weed), iron

{Silhouette} Love Birds Card

Hi there! Happy Sunday! The weekend is winding down, and I spent the afternoon making this card for my cousin's wedding shower next weekend.

It is a pop-up card, and I purchased the file (Pop Up Love Birds Card) from the Silhouette Design Store. Unfortunately, I had a really hard time figuring out the pop-up part. I finally got it!

I used some My Mind's Eye patterned papers. I popped the clouds up with foam tape, and I embossed the pink panel with the Polka Dots embossing folder.

I am keeping this short because I need to prep for my school week. Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:
Cardstock:  Papertrey Ink Sweet Blush Cardstock, cream cardstock, white cardstock, Kraft cardstock
Patterned Paper: My Minds Eye Ruby, My Minds Eye Lucky in Love

Happy Birthday!

Hi there! Today I have a simple birthday card to share with you.

I wanted to make a friend of mine a birthday card, and I decided to keep it simple. I dug through my flower bin and found these adorable Prima flowers that I've had for ages. I made that the focal point of my card. I embossed the Kraft panel with my most favorite embossing folder - Seeing Spots. I stamped the sentiment "Happy Birthday" from the Embrace Beauty stamp set by Taylored Expressions. I added a die-cut scallop with the MFT Jumbo Scallop Die-namics and finished it off with some ribbon and rhinestones.

Thank y'all for stopping by today! :)

{Silhouette} Valentine's Day Shirt

Good morning! Happy Monday!

Valentine's Day is coming up, and I wanted to make Grayson a shirt to wear to daycare on Friday.

I can't take credit for this design because a very sweet lady shared it in one of the Silhouette groups I am in on Facebook, and I downloaded it from there. I purchased some heat transfer vinyl recently to play around with, and I only bought silver and red, so that is what I used for this shirt.

I don't have a heat press, so I used a regular iron and hoped it would work. Someone online gave me the tip to use either a teflon sheet or a pressing cloth and press for 15 seconds, remove the carrier sheet, cover again with the teflon sheet or pressing cloth and then press for another 15 seconds. That is what I did, and it stuck! I did not have a teflon sheet or pressing cloth, but my mama had something that she uses to iron her appliques, and I used that. It worked perfectly!

I'm so proud of how my first attempt at an HTV shirt turned out! I will definitely be trying this again. I hope y'all have a great day. Thanks for stopping by today!

{Silhouette} Personalized Heart Dishes

Hi there! I have been having fun with my Silhouette lately. I've had it for a few years, but it spent a lot of time collecting dust. I have been trying to use it more!

I found these adorable ceramic heart-shaped dishes at Family Dollar for just $1. They are rather small and the perfect size for ring dishes! I participated in a Valentine's swap, and Dana was my swap partner, so I made her one as part of her goodie package. I used red and black vinyl for her monogram and name.

I also made some for Grayson's daycare teachers, and I decided to use gold and pink vinyl for theirs. I think these colors look so pretty together! I really love how these dishes turned out. I may have to go back and get me one!

I filled the dishes with Hershey's Kisses, wrapped them in cellophane, and tied them off with the Valentine's Day tags I posted last week. I think it will be such a sweet surprise when they get to the bottom of the dish and realize it is personalized!

This was such an easy, inexpensive, yet thoughtful Valentine's Day gift! Pier 1 Imports also has some affordable, white, ceramic dishes that work great as ring dishes. I have used those in the past, but the heart ones were too perfect for Valentine's Day.

I am entering this project in Challenge#169 - Anything Goes at Word Art Wednesday. Their verse this week is "Let all your things be done with charity." 1 Corinthians 16:14. I really enjoyed the message about the scripture while reading the blog. It's definitely one I needed to hear today. If you get a chance, I encourage you to head over there and read it. You won't be disappointed. While I didn't make a card, I definitely made these projects with lots of love, and I added love-themed tags to them.

That is it for me today. I hope y'all have a great day!

With Sympathy Card

Good morning! Happy Saturday! I don't know about y'all, but I sure am glad it's the weekend!

Sympathy cards are never my favorite card to make, and I usually try to make them with pretty colors to bring a smile.

I used some My Mind's Eye patterned papers and stitched around the edges. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions Care & Comfort - one of my favorite sets for making sympathy cards. I stamped it on buttercream cardstock and accented it with a Viva Pearl Pen in Cream. I embossed the yellow panel with my favorite embossing folder - Seeing Spots. I also added a little banner with the MFT Stamps Flag STAX Die-namics. I can't believe I didn't put any ribbon on this one!

I am entering this card in these challenges:
Pink Gem Challenge #137 - lots of layers
Simon Wednesday Challenge - All Things Bright and Beautiful (I hope these are bright enough!)

That's it for me today. I hope to get into my craft room today. I hope y'all have a great weekend!

{Silhouette} Mason Jar Keychains

Hi there! I am enjoying posting regularly to my blog again! I've also been having a lot of fun with my Silhouette.

I found these adorable mason jar blank keychains in one of the Facebook groups that I am in. I added a quatrefoil pattern to it using some mint vinyl and then put my initials on in light pink vinyl. I finished it off with some twine. This was so fun to make! I can't wait to make more with different patterns and colors.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Valentine's Day Tags

Hi there! Here are some Valentine's Day tags I made. These are going to go on the Valentine's gifts for Grayson's daycare teachers. I will do another post later this week about those gifts.

I kept these tags very simple and used the Buckets of Love stamp set. I had a lot of fun coloring these images, and I added LOTS of Stickles glitter. I added a strip of Echo Park patterned paper to each tag. The sentiment was stamped with white pigment ink and embossed. I found the ribbon in the Valentine's section at Walmart, and I thought it was super cute! I tied a little twine around it. I finished my tags off with some rhinestones.

That's it for today! Have a great day!

Supplies:
Paper: Echo Park Yours Truly, black cardstock
Stamps: There She Goes Buckets of Love
Ink: CTMH white pigment ink, clear embossing powder
Accessories: Kaisercraft rhinestones, ribbon (Walmart), eyelet (We R Memory Keepers), twine, pop dots, Crystal Stickles
